Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we're asked most often about ordering, shipping, returns, and NDIS funding.

Ordering & Products
Are your products genuine and TGA-compliant?+

Yes. We source directly through an authorised Australian wholesale distributor for brands including Max Mobility, Stander, Handybar, Varisan, Therafirm, Conni and Able Life. Medical devices supplied through Aged Care Direct are sourced through channels that carry the manufacturer's Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) listing where applicable.

How do I know which size or model is right for me?+

Product pages include weight capacity, dimensions and key specifications. If you're choosing equipment for a specific condition or recovery stage, our buying guides can help narrow the choice, but for a clinical fit assessment we always recommend checking with your occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or GP.

Can I order if I'm buying on behalf of a family member?+

Yes, most orders are placed by a family member or carer on behalf of the person who will use the equipment. Just make sure delivery details match where the item is actually needed.

Shipping & Delivery
Do you deliver Australia-wide?+

Yes, we deliver to all Australian states and territories including regional and remote areas, though delivery times and freight cost vary by location. See our Shipping & Delivery page for full details.

How long does delivery take?+

Metro areas typically receive orders within 3-7 business days. Regional and remote areas can take longer depending on courier network coverage. Larger items like wheelchairs and rollators may ship via a different carrier than small daily living aids, which can mean separate delivery dates for a multi-item order.

Is shipping free?+

Shipping cost depends on the item's size, weight and delivery location, since freight for a folding wheelchair is very different from freight for a jar opener. Exact shipping is calculated before you complete payment.

Returns & Warranty
What is your returns policy?+

You have 30 days from delivery to return an unused, unopened item in its original packaging for a refund or exchange. See our full Returns & Refunds policy for exclusions (such as hygiene items like continence products, which cannot be returned once opened for health and safety reasons).

What if my item arrives faulty or damaged?+

Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage or fault. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you, in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Do products come with a warranty?+

Most equipment carries a manufacturer's warranty, typically 12 months for wheelchairs, rollators and furniture-type items. Warranty terms are noted on individual product pages where available. All products are also covered by your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law regardless of any additional manufacturer warranty.

NDIS & Home Care Packages
Do you accept NDIS funding?+

We can supply equipment and pricing suitable for self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. We are not yet a registered NDIS provider, which means we cannot currently invoice the NDIA directly for agency-managed participants. See our NDIS & funding guide for what this means in practice.

Can I use my Home Care Package to buy equipment here?+

Many Home Care Package providers allow participants to purchase approved equipment directly and be reimbursed, or to nominate a supplier. Check with your Home Care Package provider about their specific process before ordering.

Can you provide a quote for a funding application?+

Yes. Contact us with the product and quantity you need and we can provide a formal quote suitable for submission to a plan manager, support coordinator, or Home Care Package provider.
